Greater efficiency means lower power bills

A new furnace will be far more efficient, reducing your heating bills while keeping you and your family more comfortable even on the coldest nights. The efficiency is measured by an Annual Fuel Unit Efficiency (AFUE) rating, based on how well the furnace converts fuel to energy or heat. The minimum rating for new furnaces is 80 percent and can go as high as 98 percent (which is near total efficiency). Older furnaces often fall below 80 percent.

Choosing the most efficient furnace you can afford is usually your most economical choice in the long run. More efficient furnaces also generate fewer emissions, which is not only good for Mother Earth but good for every member of your family.

Quieter operation, more reliability, longer life. Choose all three.

In addition, new furnaces offer a much quieter operation. In fact, you may not even hear it at all, but you’ll know it’s working by the wonderful heat it generates. A new furnace can also live longer than your old one, as long as 20-plus years. And because of its advanced design, it will require fewer repairs down the road. So, as you can see, there are many good reasons to replace your old furnace.

We’ll furnish the right size furnace

A furnace that is too small may have trouble keeping your home comfortable on extremely cold nights. Conversely, one that is too large may cycle on and off more frequently, which can put extra wear on its components, waste energy, and cause uncomfortable varying in temperatures. A larger furnace may also require larger ducts to avoid noisy airflow.

We will calculate your heating needs according to industry standards and recommend the right high-efficiency furnace for your home size. We will take into consideration many factors, including the square feet of your home, the building materials used, the amount of insulation and windows you have, the amount of shade over your house, and the number of people living there.

At King Heating & Air Conditioning, our service technicians are experts at recommending and installing the gas, electric or variable-speed furnace that is right for your living space and heating needs, and our professional service technicians will make sure your new furnace is properly installed to work at peak efficiency.
